Each Frances Fused fused glass piece is an original hand-made treasure. There's just the two of us (Shane and Micheal Frances), and we do all the work.
Occasionally, we come across items we think are special or a special value. We'll share those finds with you, but they will always be identified as such. For instance, last year Shane was bitten with the fountain pen bug. He's been collecting them ever since. Lately he's been restoring pens, and occasionally you'll see those popping up here for sale as well.

OUR ARTISTS
Micheal Frances - the namesake of Frances Fused and its first founding artist, Micheal was the first of the group to discover the challenges and rewards of glass fusing. He works in many different styles, but is best known for his clear dichroic designs, especially is "ice" designs. Unfortunately, because of demand, most of Micheal's work currently goes to retail outlets so finding his pieces online can sometimes be a challenge.
Michael "Shane" Shanahan - Two Michael's is too confusing, so Shane adopted his childhood nickname as his Frances Fused signature. Shane's work explores patterns and textures in a range of styles and sizes. He explores creative themes with designs created in limited series. Shane's work can also be obtained from our retail partners, but as the moving force behind our online presence, Shane is dedicated to bringing our work to the online collector community at very affordable prices, so you'll find a full selection of his work online.
